Watched 'Kartik Calling Kartik' last night. The movie was really well taken, but in the end it made me feel "all this because the guy has a

personality disorder"? If his other personality records his own voice on the phone using the timed recording, then the recording should just play as it is and should not reply back to the person who is hearing the recording (as if they are having a conversation)? Or did the director try to mean that the other personality exactly knew what Kartik was going to ask and inserted that exact pause in the recording and then answered the questions that Kartik was going to ask him?:laugh

But it was very well taken. At the start, I thought 'well Farhan, not again with those boring expressions' but the movie progressed well and portions of the second half were very captivating (the scene where Deepika sees the phone call and the door bell rings and both think that the person calling has come to the door, is hair raising due to great background score).

Awesome teaser (esp. the background score by AR Rahman). He is a genuis! Especially his combination with Maniratnam is always TERRIFIC!!!! 'Beera Beera...." rocks.

Striker is real good. Kept me hooked. Only problem was that the flashbacks and the present didn't connect well.

Raavan music is terrific.I watched the teaser last week and loved the 'beera' bgm.Was waiting for the music release. When will the tamil version get released or is it too released simultaneously along with the Hindi version?

Same here. In fact on first hearing, I loved 2 songs (Behene De, Kata Kata), liked 2 songs (Beera, Thok De Khilli) and felt the rest two were OK (Ranjha, Khilli Re). Now I love 4 songs (Behene, Kata, Beera, Thok De), and like the other 2 songs (Ranjha, Khilli Re). Raavan is a SUPER ALBUM! AR Rahman's level of consistency in delivering super soundtracks is unmatched. The guy is a GENIUS!

The opening is huge. Most likely, it will be an average grosser. Its said to be a remake of a Tamil film with the Hollywood'ish comedy touch. Akshay Kumar needs a break, seriously. He was better with action and family entertainer films. His comedies are getting monotonous.

The movies are releasing simultaneously. The audio of Tamil version is releasing May 5. Its a tactic to get maximum mileage for the Hindi version and for Abhishek Bachchan (Mani knows that Vikram will steal the limelight from Abhishek once the Tamil promos come out)

Vikram is playing the hero role in the Hindi version and is Raavan in the Tamil one... hope he does well!
