How are you doing in ICC? (any version)

Just picked up Taylor in the contracts and he is a beast... This innings was chasing 223 against one of the best seam attacks when all of the other specialist batsmen had fallen around him.

Also, as someone who has owned almost every version of ICC, I am finding the OD & T20 bowling incredibly tough. Using bowlers who naturally concede runs seems to be an absolute disaster in these formats providing conditions are not very helpful. I cannot seem to set fields which prevent run leaking and when I try to I almost never take wickets.

@ JacobFelix, what do your players' stats look like?

Well...I have batsmen averaging between 38-48 ....but the main thing is my bowlers - averaging between 20 to 28 ; wicket taking bowlers ; economy bowlers.

However, in my 2045 season, it's become a bit of struggle.....at the halfway mark, I am 4th in CC ; somehow entered CT finals beating Glamorgan in the deciding match....obviously, some new young batsmen in my team ; some bowlers have reached the age of 32,33 and they no longer are striking as they used to.

********

As I told...very inconsistent team this season....Lost in the quarter final of the T20 :( Chasing Somerset's 135, my team crashed to 71 allout...:mad

ICC 2006 : Playing as Surrey

Finished my 2045 season. :D Just won the One Day titles.

County Championship : After having won the CC for 4 successive seasons this time finished 2nd. Better, when considering the fact I was positioned 4th at the halfway mark.

2 of my losses came against winners Worcs itself. Especially that one defeat, where they sneaked home with a wkt to spare, really haunts me now. :noway Anyway, 12 Wins, they deserved to be winners. :clap

After I lost the first match of my 2 test series against sri lanka in ICC2005, Sri Lanka set me 205 to win in 45 mins plus 1 session. I set my batsmen on all out attack and i chased down the runs with 9 minutes left in the final day. Shane Watson was awesome, he smashed 127 not out from 115 balls to win me the game and level the series. I was thrilled to get a result after 7 and a half hours were lost to rain and bad light. Shane Watson just edged past Matthew Inness to take out the man of the match award.

Here are some scorecards:

Have you got enough batting there? Symonds and McDonald down at eight and nine respectively...

Yeah, my batting goes very deep. McDonald was filling in for the injured Brett Lee. It may not look like it, but I've got plenty of bowling options. Inness, Gillespie, Symonds, McDonald and Watson are all there. Brad Hodge also gets a bowl occasionally.

Hi guys, I'm new here. Could someone tell me where I can find the stories ( following a side through some seasons)?

Hey guys, quick question:

Can you buy a boxed copy of the mac edition of the ICC2011 or can you simply only buy it through the app store. I would rather have a boxed copy of it, but if it's not possible a download of it through the app store wouldn't hurt.

I don't believe you can buy a boxed version of it - I hardly see boxed versions of the PC version and the mac edition would have a much smaller audience than that.

ICC 2006 : 2046 season

Finally got round to purchasing ICC2011 and started a save with Worcestershire. I didn't really have much money to play with in the transfer section, however I did pick up Richard Sutherland (RHB, youths) who will slot into my 1st XI for reason you will soon see :)

Opening game was agains't Leeds UCCE and it was very encouraging:

Leeds UCCE won the toss and elected to bat first

Leeds UCCE 1st innings: 242 all out (74.4 overs)

M.Howells- 80

A.Richardson- 5/55 from 18.4

Worcestershire 1st innings: 685/6 dec. (159 overs)

V.Solanki- 281
M.Ali- 105
D.Mitchell- 146
R.Sutherland- 84

N.Roberts- 3/81 from 18.0

Leeds UCCE 2nd innings: 177/6 (68.0 overs)

M.Howells- 93

S.Adjmal- 4/44 from 22.0

Unfortunately I didn't realise it was only a 3-day game against the UCCE squads, which is why I didn't declare earlier, and had it been a 4-day game, I would have rapped up an innings victory. Sutherland looked impressive on his debut and only got out because I was slogging towards the end of the morning session on Day 3 to get maximum runs before declaring. Ben Cox's batting issues have carried over from ICC10 to ICC11 by the looks of things, with him picking up yet another duck.
