Finished my 2012 season as Surrey.

CC : Finished 5th. In fact my team were the champs the previous 2 seasons. Hat-trick missed.
CT : Finished 5th. In fact 5 of us finished on 12 points and my team had the lowest NRR among them.
Pro 40 : Finished 3rd.
T20 : Retained the title. On line for a Hattrick.

When I went into the 2013 season, my mainstay R.Clarke and 'finisher' T.Murtagh retired, at the age of 31.

I terminated contracts of 'tortoises' S.Walters & R.Hamilton Brown.

Did not renew the contracts of both my OS players S.Paul & D.Kaneria.

Signed up batsmen T.Marshall, M.Yardy, J.Hoggart and OS player J.Sharma.

I couldnt sign up a premium Overseas spinner ( in place of Kaneria ) because of lack of funds. So I had to sign up a (regen) Australian leggie Ray Cooper.

Just started playing ICC 3 for Hampshire. I started the season buying a few players off the youth list. One keeper caught my eye called J Maisey. I gave him a go in the first match against Middlesex. Middlesex finished up on 7 for 194. Then in reply i got off to a shocker. I was about 5 for 25. Then came in Maisey who started smacking the ball around for his first ever game and then when Shaun Ervine arrived the two batted superbly. Maisey ended up making 70 off 80 balls including 11 fours and Ervine made 81 n.o. I am so into this game now. I can't wait to develop Maisey more and try and get him in the England team.

Also is it possible at the start off the season to get rid of players in contract?

it is possible
at the end of the season when it asks u to renew contracts for the expired players
u have to go to the current squad tab
right click on the player u wanna remove and click on TERMINATE CONTRACT!

Boy...What a comedown.....Slipped to 8th position after 5 matches in the County Championship

Doing pretty well though in Challenge Trophy...5 wins from 5 games

But faring Below Average in CC...6th position after 8 games
