Scored another 100, now that's 2 in 2 .
102* of 89

For the first time since i started playing game i hit two hundreds in two innings of a FC match.
I don't know what happened to me suddenly i was very comfortable and playing all right balls in right directions. I only had three edges over two innings one in first innings and two in second innings.
Hit 216 out of 102 in First innings and 116 out of 76 in second and drew the match with Surrey.
Got MOTM as well.
Playing on Professional Difficulty 2nd year with Essex

Started a career as a 16 y/o middle order batsman for the Qld Bulls. Had scored 2 50's previously (avg of 20) in first class however I FINALLY scored my first first-class hundred. Oh man, what a feeling!! Scored 57 in the first dig of the 4 dayer and came in with the score about 2/25 chasing 258 to win. Reardon got done for 95 (poor bugger) but I steadied the ship and ended up scoring 114*, and hit the winning runs in the vacant third man corridor. I'm glad the field placements in the 4 day game are actually quite good most of the time. Took me >1hr but boy was I sweating by the end! :)

DB14....best cricket game around.

ahh cricket. after the highs of my first FC century...I get scores of 5, 12 and 18. *sigh* :)

Twice I've gotten out to nicks off drives which is fair enough, one of them a bouncer I tried (stupidly) to drive to cover, only for the ball to pop up to 2nd slip.

That is the wonderful game of cricket for you. It tends to bring you back to ground like no other sport.

LOL....I heard that Career Mode is very difficult :D:D.. So I opted for Pro Difficulty after going through the horror stories of how difficult it is to bat in career mode....Now dont want to waste so many hours of play just to prove a point..I play Casual Mode in Legend Difficulty along with Online (As you know already)....SO I will stick with this Career at least for next 03/04 seasons..BTW I think if I get selected for National Team, my difficulty will automatically increase to Veteran..isn't it.....Career mode did helped me to play better in Online mode...

In the shield with NSW I've played about 25-30 games and we've only just won our first lol we suck so badly. In contrast we won the ODD cup, in truth I put the test players in the ODD team and left then out of the shield (besides Smith)

tell me about it, at first i thought it was me, but then i realized they were dragging me down after 3-4 seasons with their inepitude to win :D switched to redbacks..now have never looked back

Hey guys, just curious to what difficulty most people are playing on?
I'm playing on veteran and in my second year of career. (I've owned the game since the release and this is like 6th year of career if you count the other times I played and restarted) but anyway, as a batting all rounder bowling pace batting at 5 I've just finished my second aus domestic and got my first county contract and a few games in.
I'm averaging a career 26.95 with 3 100's and 6 50's and with the ball averaging about 19 with 2 5 wicket halls in first class.
In the county season I've found batting easier but bowling harder, anyone else find that?
And my one day batting average is 17 and bowling is 25
T20 batting is 13 and bowling is 21

Anyone else got similar numbers on the same difficulty?

Started a new career as a Batsman this time and scored 540 in my 10th FC game. My best score across 3 different careers spanning a total of 5 years.
LHB, on rookie. Previous best was about 180 on rookie and 75 on amateur so this felt pretty good. Got dropped on 375 too.

This doesn't usually happen everyday. Took me well over 50 career games to get this score. My reflexes are just not that good. I don't think I'll be repeating this anytime soon. Rookie/ Amateur (on international) is where I am most comfortable where I can get somewhat respectable scores ( Lots of 20's and 30's, a few 50's and the odd 100) and have fun doing it without being totally frustrated at higher difficulties.
