Weird thing is it wasn't what i wanted all this time. I mean, i guess it probably was. But I had no idea. I genuinely thought I wanted to do what I was doing. My hand was kinda forced, realised I had pushed it too far with non-attendence, not doing assignments etc and unless i really knuckled down I was going to get thrown out. Basically had to ---- or get off the pot. once i realised that it suddenly dawned on me I had no idea why I was even on the pot.

Still no real idea what I am doing. I made solid (essentially professional) money while at uni, so going to do that for a couple of years while things get sorted. probably go traveling. not sure when at all. Have all the necessary money so will likely just decide to do it one day and leave the next

Poker, eh?

I'm glad you dropped if it wasn't working for you. I'm not sure if I've authority enough to say this (anyway, this is the tweaking internet), but seriously, do not ever let anyone consider you umm, stupid because you dropped out of uni. You clearly are not. And I know people would say, even more so believe it.

Good luck mate. Traveling is blissful. I'd sell my 'education' to travel.

yep, get to sit around in my pyjamas playing a game on my laptop. it's pretty sweet really.

people thinking i'm stupid because I didn't graduate isn't something that will concern me. Some people likely will think that way but smart people will realise life isn't that black and white.

I think people overrate university and the requirement to go to university. I don't think it's for everyone and can be a waste of time. It's definitely needed in some professions but in others the amount you learn is far less than you would learn if you actually went out and just worked in that area. Unfortunately most employers don't see it this way.
