Inorganic bro :p

I still actually preferred to 'not exactly memorize' it, but obviously the ones who completely memorized the entire sections had it better. Doesn't matter, I couldn't be arsed to do it.

Even in IGCSE ?

If you have a reasonable level of intelligence then hell no, you don't have to cram for IGCSE, maybe a few days before. I was after A*s, I ended up with 2 A*s (Maths, Combined Science), 4 As (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Business Studies) and a B (English Literature).

Not only can you get good grades easily, but the main thing is it's a completely useless qualification you'll forget about in no time. It isn't going to get you into university which is the point of the academic side of high school.

The Cambridge way of learning is really bad too, in no University will you find a course where they want you to use the words exactly in the textbook, so it's a habit you have to lose once you leave school which is tough.

I look back and regret studying a lot in my first few years of high school as it was so pointless, I wish I had a lot more fun! So don't go so hard at IGCSE, you'll burn out. Go hard once you actually get to A-Levels which actually matter for University (but not too hard since that too is unnecessary).

Disagree, that is the biggest lie about our system. You cannot pass 11th/12th by just solely cramming. It is possible to an extent till 10th grade but not after that. For example 70 students in my school failed 11th grade last year because cramming was all that they could do, you cannot get by like that after a certain stage.

And I just don't get all the hate people have for all the toppers/IITians, everyone thinks they just learn stuff up by rote, which is by all means necessary, but there is a high amount of logical thinking ability required as well. People just look for excuses to bring others down.

I didn't talk about the IGCSE or CBSE, I am talking about my state-board system where you have to cram by all means.

Fair enough, I dont know about your state board but a lot of people think that happens in CBSE as well, couldnt be farther from the truth. In CBSE, marks are awarded as long as whatever you have written is correct, language doesnt matter.

im in 9th class rajasthan board of education

ICSE is very difficult for me. I study in class 9th and I have to cramp everything. I got rid off my exams last week and I am relaxing these days. I'm worried how I am going to face my boards especially maths. Any help or suggestion guys?
