How are you going in International Cricket 2010?

I played a bit IC2010 for the first time in ages tonight, it was actually really fun! I reckon taking a break and coming back to the game makes it feel better. If you play too much, you become too good and the AI becomes a bit predictable. Tonight, I continued an old 50 over world cup save, which was at the semi finals. Stats hadn't been edited, but I was out of practice. I bowled my way to victory in the back half of the semi final against India, then won the toss and elected to bowl in the Final against Sri Lanka. I ended up bowling the Lankans out for 230 odd off about 47 overs. I bowled well with Brett Lee who ended up taking 4 wickets. This result is not bad for a not stat edited 50 over innings. This is on hard, minimal HUD, action cam BTW. The way the wickets fell was great too, plenty of thin edges off the quick bowlers, some bowleds, LBWs and a few caught in the out field. There was the odd six over third man, but overall the game felt great. I'll be looking forward to batting tomorrow and then moving on to some stat edited games (after I win the WC!)

Here's the scorecard of the WC semi I played:

Good luck! Im 99% sure codies have pulled the plug on this games server. Ive not been able to connect with anyone online for along time.

I can confirm Codies have not shut down the servers, I played 2 games today but as usual was disconnected both times.

Well for me thats good news. Ive played at least 15 full games online and have never been dissconected once! Dont suppose you wanna try a game with me? Are you on x-box?

Just finished my World Cup final, it produced the most epic result imaginable. With the scores level, Shaun Tait edged behind to secure a tie. I was awarded the win due to the fact that i hit 1 more six in my innings than them. This is on Hard, Action Cam, Minimal HUD, no stat edits (as I started the tournament over a year a go).

Wow, good stuff. Never tied a knock out ODI before so interesting to see how the win was decided which seems a fair way for a video game. Wonder if same amount of 6's it depends on amount of 4's. If that was tied also..................:D

Have a look at 1 of my posts a page ago. It has a pic of a tied game and how it was decided.

If you mean the T20 then yes I knew about the eliminator (good to see that in the game). It was ODI knockout tied result decider I hadn't seen before :)

You made hard work of chasing down that score.

It was my first batting innings in ages, apart from a few good partnerships I was hopeless. Batting is actually much harder than bowling.

Personally i disagree, i think batting is fairly easy and bowling is much harder.

Played a ODI against the West Indies using the batting cam for the first time in a long time. After bowling them out cheaply I chased down the target with ease.
