Used to always play in the backyard with my brother whenever we didn't have a football, but it wasn't until 2000 when I really started watching it. Don't remember much of it, but I remember being glued to Channel 4 that summer.
Yeah, Cricket04 got me into cricket as well actually.
I remember waking up on a saturday morning and just banging that on. Playing as Australia against India - always thrashing them of course with the Waugh brothers.
My dad used to watch it all the time so I would watch bits and pieces and he would always take me to NSW games as well. Michael Clarkes debut ton in India was what really won me over but I never watched it fanatically as I was pretty young. I started watching it a lot and as much as I could about a few years back.
Andrew Flintoff and Matthew Hoggard. Watching them 2 in the 2005 Ashes got me into it and It's just taken off from there. At the point now where it's an obsession most of my life revolves around cricket(and getting drunk ofc :sarcasm)
Got into it from going into the urban areas of Zimbabwe (the part of Zimbabwe I'm from, Cricket isn't popular at all). So whenever I was in Harare cricket was the thing to do, so I started playing when I was like 10.
