Yeah street cricket is actually seriously beneficial for batting. I've noticed my teammates using shots in games that they've invented on the streets and it's really effective.

Oh yeah, I know, but it was really cool in my backyard in Australia, it was MADE for cricket, haha plus we had these actual wooden stumps with bails at either end to complete the experience
