Oh no! Tavare has edged it to second slip! 14/2. Messy, messy, messy. England are beginning to collapse. Hopefully for David

Gower can turn it around for England.

Disaster! Boycott is given out for LBW! England haven't even made scores even! They still trail by 1 run, so Australia will

need to bat. 26/3.
England supporters will hope Botham produces a captain's innings. They need it now!

That's it for the day. Theres been so many ups-and-downs today, and credit to Australia for coming out on top today. Epic

Botham: Big score just around the corner

We spoke to England captain Ian Botham at the end of the day.

"Well, its been a very interesting day. We lost a few early wickets, and obviously we need a big score from me and David. I feel that there's a big score around the corner for me or Gower, and that we could turn the game around.
Best case scenario, we get a decent score, 350 or so by tea, declare and bowl the Aussies out. Worst case, we're bowled out for less than 100 and the Aussies win. This has been such an amazing game."
