I got two questions sorry if they have already been answered

Firstly can i get the game now if i buy it over the internet? instead of waiting untill the release date?

If i do buy it now, do i get all the patches for free or say a new version eg 1.09 comes out i dont have to pay for that do i?

you can buy the game now, and i would guess that you get the patches for free, but im not sure. i bought the game last night, god i've missed cricket captain!

I didn't make the game.

The patches will probably include a data update as the data in the game is innacurate in several places.

Other than that nobody here will have a clue.

I just played my first match, Started the 2005 ashes series. Made some ajustments that I wanted to experiment with and won the 1st test.
I dont have any of the other titles so I recon I'll pick this one up, Great game!
Havnt even scratched the surface.

Just managed 2,000 runs in a test match in one innings as Australia in the Ashes, Obviously the game ended as a draw, but I find it laughable you can get so many runs so easy.

I have played all ICC games from version 2 until 2005 and I have rarely scored above 600 in the hundreds of matches I have played. I play on the 'normal' setting as well.

Just how do you score 2000 runs in an innings...I would love to know your secret.

I agree. Like I said, getting 1047 in my first game says how bad it is, I hardly ever got above 600 in ICC 2002, and that was only against crap sides or the occasional test side where I batted for long periods to get a draw.

Another couple of things in that my only match so far.

In the second innings tres edged one the crowd cheered as he would go to 50 but the comp dropped it, So how did the crowd know he would drop it?

Plus when i put Jones on 7Aggressive he was knocking it about for singles.

I'll be waiting for all this summers cricket releases,
