ICC Battle For Supremacy Indiav New Zealand Match One, Delhi
Early Wickets For Kiwis!
ICC Battle For Supremacy is about to get underway as the Indian openers Virender Sehwag and Sachin Tendulkar make their way out to the center. Feroz Shah Kotla has just erupted and it is buzzing here! Who says T20 is the most exciting form of the game? Its Fifty-Fifty! Virender Sehwag to take the strike as Tuffey to start the proceedings for New Zealand.
Both the batsmen started off steadily while trying to find their feet and come into terms with the pitch. Some nice shots played along with some tidy bowling and fielding by the Kiwis. Virender Sehwag took off in his typical 'stand and deliver' fashion. Sachin being as calm as ever.
Kyle Mills shared the new ball with Tuffey and in the second over of the match he removed Sehwag. Viru tried to smash one square on the off-side but found Ross Taylor on his way. Kiwis got the danger man early as Gambhir made his way to the crease.
Indians didn't seem to know this was 50 over competition except Sachin. Gambhir seemed in a hurry as he smashed a boundary off Mills and the next ball tried to repeat the same but failed. He edged it onto the stumps as India were 15 for 2 at that stage. Mills had both the wickets with Tuffey bowling a very tight spell.
Yuvraj Singh was the new batsmen in. Indians needed a partnership here as Vettori tried to take advantage and get some more wickets. Pressure was applied from both the ends as Mills and Tuffey kept Yuvraj silent initially. He did smack one for six to get off the mark after he was getting bogged down.
Sachin Tendulkar on the other end wasn't affected by what was happening. He played his natural game and punished the bad deliveries. He kept the scoreboard ticking and moved onto 21* off 29 deliveries with 2 fours. At the end of 10 overs, India are 45 for 2.
Here we look at Daryl Tuffey's spell. He was a bit wide of off-stump but that really didn't hurt as batsmen couldn't find the gaps. He tried some short pitched stuff as well especially to Sachin Tendulkar. A very tight spell by Tuffey over there.
Let's take a look at real-time video of Gambhir's wicket. Mills bowled a similar sort of ball which was smashed for 4 earlier by Gambhir but this time, he edged it onto his stumps. T20 style got better of him maybe.
I am able to see it now
And it was just a suggestion mate, in game graphics and real players doesn't looks good, so you ignore it and go ahead with some more outstanding writings and graphics
