ICC Champions Trophy 2017

I've an inkling that Amir is going to have a great day on June 4. That's right. You heard it here first.

Also, Pakistan might finally get that much awaited win over India in an ICC event. Just a gut feeling.

Apparently champions trophy wins do not get counted as ICC event wins or else there is no such record where Pakistan have never beaten India in ICC events as @Na Maloom Afraad said, Pakistan have beaten India twice in ICC CT the most recent win was in South African Champions trophy if I am not wrong. Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Yousuf scored brilliantly if I recollect right

Wahab at 150kph short of a lenght at the Indian helmets! Thats that!
Next ball, Wahab tries the same ball only to see it racing to the boundary from the bat of Virat Kohli at a speed of 158kph. Now that's that!

We've beaten India twice in Champions Trophy. India has only one win, so...

...say what?

Lmao, some got thrown of with the '6-1 streak' post I made earlier. ROFL![DOUBLEPOST=1496119973][/DOUBLEPOST]

World Cup ODI playboy.

Looking at the uncertainty regarding out lineup, I can easily see us exiting at the group stage. Sometimes, too many options could also result in an unsettled side. Although Bumrah and Bhuvi have done well in the recent past, given our dodgy batting lineup, we need bowlers who can run through sides. That means we must have test quality bowlers in the side, leaving no room for guys like Pandya. Shami and Umesh must somehow both get a spot in the XI. My lineup, although very risky would be as follows:

Dhawan
Rahane/Karthik
Kohli
Jadhav
Yuvraj
Dhoni
Jadeja
Bhuvi
Shami
Yadav
Bumrah

I agree that this would be a very flimsy batting lineup but the bowling should be good enough to put up a fight. Also, even with the extra batsman, I do not see us scoring or chasing 350-odd. Our best shot would be the bowlers winning us matches. I`m never convinced with Rohit in any form of the game. more so now with his recent lull upon return from injury. When has he ever done anything of note in games that actually matter, test or ODIs? Those 200s were on featherbeds in inconsequential ODIs at home. Except the CB series in Australia (10 years ago) and the WC Q/F, he has`nt done anything to inspire confidence in him.

^ Agree with Rohit's form. But he will be in the team for sure.

And looking at the warmups, safe to say Rahane will make way for Dhawan in CT.

India have lost two really well contested games against Pakistan in the CT. The 2004 game was a classic and India were well in the contest in 2009 as well.

I think they were always at arm's lenght tbh. The 2004 was a classic, yes, and Afridi played his best ODI cameo in that game, even better than the ones against Bangladesh and India in 2014.
