ICC Champions Trophy 2017

Think Australia will be disqualified today. An abandoned game is very likely due to rain, massive shame.

Won't be disqualified but we will need to win our last game against England :) and some games to go in our favor ....

Rain please stay away :)

Come ON AUS! :)

According to MyCricketHighlights a3nd ESPN Cricinfo , this ICC Event will much disturb due rain. AUS and BAN also stopped due to rain. IF Today Match will not complete , may be Australia will out of the Tournament.

Tamim Iqbal has improved a ton. He is a heck of a good opener. :clap

fearsome tweak YOU ICC !!

Warner has taken the same number of innings as Kohli to reach 4000 ODI runs - 93. Kohli reached the milestone in 2013, 4 and a half years after his debut. Warner has taken 8 years to do so. Smith is yet to reach 100 ODIs too, despite debuting around 2010. Makes you wonder if players of non-subcontinental countries are at a disadvantage when it comes to ODIs since they don't play much. Obviously, fitness and durability plays a part but this disparity seems too extreme.

What's the point of this tournament?

What happens to the vCash I've bet on Oz?

Let us keep aside all the poor decisions taken by ICC including schedule ,etc .

One thing , why they want some 1-2 matches to be scheduled day/night , when England is somewhat we can say having a ritual of "Day" matches since ages ? . We hardly get to see a day/night match in England , so there's no point keeping day/night for 1-2 matches only .
Otherwise , today's match would've been completed very early .

What if-

1) NZ beat Bangladesh
2) ENG beat NZ
3) AUS vs ENG is washed out

NZ and AUS will be on 3 points each. ENG 5 and BAN 1.

Who goes through between Oz and Nz? Australia could get knocked out without losing a single game or qualify for the SF without winning a single game? :lol:lol:lol

Weird scenario, but I think NZ will go through since they have 1 win on hand and Australia have no wins. I think wins will acquire precedence over net run rate. I believe its in this order "points first; if not then head to head; if not, then number of wins; if not, then net run rate". I might be wrong, though.
