ICC Champions Trophy 2017

Nothing sums up de Villiers' career more than the innings he played today. Lots of hype from the commentators/media, some flashy strokes, some glimpses of ability but at the end of the day, massively underwhelming when his team needed him the most and stakes were high.

To be a little fair, he does average 55 in WCs.

India get into Morris early. If we can keep our intensity up here, we might be looking at chasing 250 odd. Hope India go for the kill. Don't let guard down against SA as we have known these guys will hurt you till the end if you are not up for it.

And maybe the wicket today is not really a 330+ wicket like how it was against Sri Lanka. I would say SA should be happy getting to 300

Think even 250 can give South Africa a half-chance here. Remaining batsmen have to play sensibly before accelerating in the final 5 overs. Duminy, Morris, Andile and Rabada are all capable of chipping in with scores of 15-30 each.

SA did what they should be doing - really push the opposition hard with super quick running. This comes with the risk of run outs if you have an opposition thats equally good with their fielding. Well India were up for the task today with their fielding and got those run outs.

Still not done here. SA can still post a formidable total, one that will test our chasing skills.

Is Faf, Mohammad Hafeez of Pakistan?
Get others run out and then get out yourself!
