Well Manjaros restaurant is in Manchester so I guess it is true, I saw Virat Kohli in the gym training hard and our players are smoking shisha.:facepalm
I think that's Wahab Riaz in the hat with Malik in that pic.
Well I feel this kind of stuff do come out when your team loses and few players don't do well ultimately becoming the target.

Remember back in 2010 when India lost all the matches in super 8 stages of the ICC WT20 - teams off field activities were questioned and media made a big fuss about sone of the players the likes of Yuvraj, Zaheer, Rohit ,Praveen Kumar etc. were partying in the pub and played beach ball before that so all the blame were put onto that by the media.

So these kind of things do come out especially in India and Pakistan where players private life is being unnecessarily being blamed for their failures.

Is it just me or has anyone noticed a change in Kohli in the last few months minus IPL?

Seems to be a lot more relaxed for one. His match day captaincy has also definitely improved. Maybe the bloke loves RCB too much and that is the reason for him making too many strange decisions based on emotions? :p

A player who has gone under the radar this tournament with the ball has been Colin de Grandhomme with his military medium pace and accuracy along with the slight swing that he gets. The closest we have to such a player is Vijay Shankar himself. He needs to be bowling as the sixth option under similar conditions. I have always felt that he is trying to get his pace up in order to match the other players like Pandya, when he would be better served by improving his accuracy when it comes to the length he bowls even if it is at the expense of his pace for now. Could be a valuable weapon in the arsenal if he turns into a player who you could reliably trust to sneak in a few economical overs without any worry.

There is no one in Pakistan team who can be a good captain, If I was Sarfaraz I would step down as a captain after the World Cup because so far it's been a really poor year for Pakistan cricket.

Everyone is saying the same here, but you've got no option, Hafeez and Malik have ended their careers (almost), Then who? The next regular senior is Amir and I think that's a bad idea making him captain.

They should give Babar Azam a try as he got 68 ODI and 21 Test matches under his name plus lots of List A and First as well.
Virat Kohli become Captain when he was 24 years old so why not Babar Azam??

Lol same here!! Just win this match...rest of it doesn’t matter ;)
Well, of course, I didn't really mean it :p

Win against Pakistan is always special, but they better get to the Final or else I see myself brooding over it for two days at the very least. I obviously don't expect India to win the cup, so a Final appearance is an acceptable result for me.

You know I get a feeling that Pakistan would beat South Africa in the next match and later would lose to NZ making it mandatory for them to win their next 2 matches and they would beat Afghanistan comprehensively. But I see Bangladesh upsetting them and knocking them out of the WC in their last match. What do you think guys ?

Well, obviously try him in PSL first then T20 and then ODI
Shoaib, Wahab, Imam and Imad. Wow!

Again I get a feeling that if India gets in the Final you would for all reasons see a different Indian side than what we saw in 2015 WC Semi-final, 2016 WT20 Semi-final and CT'17 Final. For sure they are hurting with those defeats and would definitely want to shut the mouths of people who called this side a mediocre team when it comes to playing knockouts back then.

And you know I see more of worry in your post for the Indian team rather than the flaws of the team you are looking at. But that is what we as Indian fans have always felt including me. Goosebumps moment !!!!

I haven't seen it. I feel we are seeing Kohli at his actual potential as Captain. I always get a feeling that he has something that makes it right to appoint him as the leader of the team. :thumbs

Don't forget the 2014 WT20 as well where we just steam rolled into the final without even dropping a sweat. Infact we are the only team since last 6 years that is consistently reached the last 4 of the every ICC tournament played.

TBH the team's lot experienced now and knows how to win matches and more importantly they have the bowling to do well this time.

Seeing the way India have played so far this tournament, I am so waiting for the India vs England game. And thankfully its on a Sunday (June 30) in Birmingham. I'd actually make a tactical decision for that game by not playing Kuldeep Yadav. If we noticed during the India vs England ODI series last year, Kuldeep had a brilliant first game and ran through England but then England gradually kept playing him better and better and eventually won the series. With the World Cup allowing you only one league game, I'd hide Kuldeep against England because if these two sides face each other in the semifinal or final, unleash Kuldeep on that game.

I don't believe in all this. In a way this is like playing tricks with opposition and trying to fool the opposition. You know what that would suggest ? It would suggest that we are afraid of playing against big teams in knockouts. We are not under-dogs in this tournament, infact we are favourites. As a team you also need to have some sort of self-respect. This sort of things sounds good for a team like Sri Lanka, West Indies or Pakistan and not for a team like India who has always been consistent in the last half decade. No need of doing such things !!! :noway
