Why oh why would you drop Saifuddin to include Rubel??!! :facepalm:facepalm:facepalm

I think that is it

Aussies through to the semis pretty much

Is it just me or do the Bangladeshis look unfazed by the target.

They may not make it but they sure look a side that is in the fight. Tamim is not the dasher of old these days and that is what might put pressure on them. Litton or Mahmudullah might have to play a blinder.

Tamim should atleast be going run a ball... Too slow for them to have any chance at all

Yeah. The vintage Tamim would have nudged a 100 by now had he batted this long. This is an ordinary Aussie attack outside the new ball pair.

Exactly what I feel. They haven't got bowlers to get wickets in the middle overs pretty much the problem India had 5-6 years ago where they used to get thrashed everywhere outside Asia except Zimbabwe and West Indies with the likes of Ashwin and Jadeja bowling the middle overs. Starc is a good death bowler but isn't very consistent and leaks runs when he doesn't find his length[DOUBLEPOST=1561045002][/DOUBLEPOST]

Actually we are hearing this for almost a decade now :p

But this time their performance is actually a lot better than previous tournaments.

If the Tigers can be 200/2 at the end of 30, they might have an outside chance. Zampa and Stoinis have to go for a lot more than they have so far. Tamim has been too watchful.

Starc getting a lot of soft wickets this WC.

Let's shoot for 230-240/3 at 35..
Tamim plays some great shots but he just can't push the ball into the gap and rotate the strike very well. That's really costly for us when going after anything above a 300.

That is absolutely NOT the way to play when you’ve gotta chase 382 and given how poor he was between the wickets, Tamim has very well cost every chance of the Tigers winning this from a batsman’s perspective.

I agree. Also, why doesn't Mahmudullah bat higher? He can be a good No 5. Litton can bat a spot lower as he seems to go big from the word go. Mahmudullah needs more time generally and can bat through.

Been saying this for a long time, especially given that he no longer bowls. He’s at least as good as Shakib in ODIs, if not marginally better.
