India's kit is boring. The same one as their regular ODI kit. A World Cup kit should be different from the regular kit that you use and due to it being a special event, you design a special kit. And nothing wrong (IMO) in changing colors. All you want to make sure is, your kit does not look indistinguishable from another country's kit so as to avoid confusion among the audience.
Well I think they could've added Green,Orange and white from their flag like england's stripes and Pakistan's that would've made it look good OR something similar to the paint splatter design in your avatar

We need to get that blue back to a navy and not this "FLASHY" eye sore shade they use. The orange on the blue is worse. On the field, it actually hurts your eyes.

I like the CT'09 jersey. Navy blue with orange and jersey number and name in Yellow along with Indian tri-colour displayed on front of the jersey. Here is the one I am talking about

Very nice statistical report of how different teams have tackled Powerplay overs both while batting and bowling. England absolutely smashing their way to the top in batting, but leaking runs big time when bowling. While NZ beating other teams by a margin while bowling, and scoring quite fast while batting, but susceptible to losing more wickets as well

South Africa actually seem to be the most balanced. SAF have played safe but have scored at 5.3rpo and are also good at taking wickets regularly with a low economy

Just read a transcript from a Kohli interview and I couldn't disagree more with him. I feel the first half of this tournament will be more crucial than the second. 12 years of IPL has taught me one thing about this format- If you catch the bull by the horns in your first 3-4 games, you can really ride the crest of the wave. I also don't see 250 being defended against a good side unless India bowl out of their skins. 300 will be par for the course.

So India also having away jersey as well will be wearing the Orange colors.

I highly doubt the timing of this news, as it comes on the same day when the India Lok Sabha elections is announced and we've heard that the BJP, whose color is 'saffron' or orange, have won by a majority.

However I will be happy to see a different India jersey. I am bored with their current choice (the one that Kohli was wearing when the captains got together today) and do not like it at all.

Hahaha Deja Vu - was thinking exactly the same people would run an agenda here in India now that why Orange ? Why not some other colors? :p.[DOUBLEPOST=1558626104][/DOUBLEPOST]
Not a fan of the concept, but at this point I'd be glad to see any variation in the Indian kit.
Hard to imagine the Indian players representing the nation other than the blue colors.

No. I was actually thinking that some pro-BJP person could have possibly circulated this news. Let us receive official confirmation from the ICC before even believing this news.

I am actually bored with blue. Its over saturated and many teams are wearing blue predominantly. India should move out of blue. I know there will be this "oh we've seen them always in blue and our brains are repelling the change of colors" but your brain will get used to the new color as long as it is well designed. I am actually pretty receptive to the idea of orange as long as it is a darker shade of orange. It will be very interesting. We don't see Holland playing anymore (they were the ones with an orange kit) and so India can take on an orange tone.

From the article: India's yet-to-be-released jersey will most likely see the players wear a darker blue in the front, whereas orange will dominate the sleeves as well as the back.

I think this would be nice

Plus this news has been out since 12 hours ... and on almost all portals. Most likely true

Can't believe the world cup is almost here. It's been a long wait

Warm ups start today

AFG v PAK
SA v SL

Finally, the main event of Cricket is about to begin! May team India lifts the World Cup trophy this time under the captaincy of Virat Kohli. CWC 2019 Schedule PDF is good this time. Every team needs to play with each other.
