This match is completely different to the England Series - the pitch is actually doing something. Not around 340 pitch like we have been seeing. Maybe even 250-260 might be enough for Pakistan bowling.

Interestingly, this is a great chance to see how we react.

The major annoying thing about Malik is that he is such an old fashioned player - currently, he is on 13(30). Where are the quick runs, where is the rotating the strike - he needs to be more proactive on these slower tracks.

Yeah I think now a days Strike rate should be at least over 80, Shoaib Malik current strike rate is like 60 which is not good for ODI.

Just saw the match being broadcasted in India on Hostar. What a bland scoreboard overlay though!

Its world cup tournament and visual appeal/presentation should be atleast decent enough for the viewers to enjoy.

they seem to be bowling well for most of the time. AFG just took a punt on going for a quick start and it paid off. Now they are just playing cautiously and not giving too many chances since its not a tall target

Mohammad Amir to Asghar Afghan, FOUR runs, EDGE! Conservative captaincy by Sarfaraz costs Pakistan.Afghan has just come to the crease and still feeling bat on ball. Fullish length by Amir in the channel outside off, Afghan with not much footwork, especially after the previous ball where he looked tentative going onto the back foot to a full ball. He pokes an edge that goes just wide of Sarfaraz. Would've been snapped up by first slip.

Afghanistan is just missing couple of good medium pacers and they will be world beaters. Its nice to see Afghanistan progressing so well.

It's pretty clear that Afghanistan lack the experience to be able to finish games. They're a very good side with a lot of potential, but they just can't handle the pressure. They can be world beaters if they overcome that. I hope Afghanistan can cause some upsets this WC.
