Oh dear Hardik !!!! No !!!! :facepalm

Hit that straight to the fielder but goodness me what a catch that was !! :clap

Perfect time for DK... Last 3-4 overs

Windies could be devastating on flat pitches. Their batsmen really found their mojo again in the England series a couple of months back. They could be similar to England, just aiming to score more than the opponents.

Cricinfo has Hope as the WI keeper, but i hope (no pun intended) Pooran is keeping. Hope is a jem of a player, he doesn't need the burden of batting at 3 and keeping. Not everyone can be Sanga.

Seems improbable, but if Guptill and Munro get in a murderous mood then anything can happen

You can't depend on 2 batsman when you are chasing 400+. A complete team effort is required. Not sure whether they have enough fire power in their batting

This is poor strategy from India. You have to give practice to your bowlers as well to bat out there.

They also have Williamson to follow alongwith Ross Taylor.

Its not like West Indian attack is the best in the biz. They were pushed over by the Bangladeshi batting lineup in the recent series

Let's see.... I hope NZ pull this off. Go kiwis

The ending there was ridiculously below par from Bangladesh. Their bowlers were happily giving away freebies to the Indian batsmen with all those wides and all. India ransacked almost 60 runs in the last 4 overs there.

The batsmen should be happy with the practice they've got. The openers have failed both games but I expect them to be switched on come the main show.

Splendid comeback from India after the first warmup game. :clap

Dhoni today was spectacular, and hopefully he continues batting in the same way throughout the tournament. Rahul was very impressive too and will surely be our number four for the first game without any doubt especially given Jadhav’s current fitness issues.

Bangladesh were very sloppy towards the end. I know that this is a warmup game, but their fragile mentality needs to improve a lot if they are going to progress as a cricketing power in the future.

Today, is an extremely positive day for us. I am super pumped! I think our make up is confirmed now and we must not shake around too much with our batting line up henceforth. I am only worried about Jadhav and I think if Jadhav isn't making runs, we can bring Shankar in. I still don't feel Jadhav's bowling will be worthwhile on these tracks, so with Shankar's fielding it might be an okay idea.

But, very very big day for us in terms of the World Cup.[DOUBLEPOST=1559053117][/DOUBLEPOST]One thing I want to point out-

I still have seen an inclination in Kohli to poke outside the off stump. We could be in a semi final with overcast conditions against an attack like Australia and I feel we must be flexible enough to have Rahul 3 and Kohli 4 if a wicket falls early.

I don’t see a place for Pooran in the current batting lineup though. He isn’t a good batsman either. Hope has been keeping in ODIs for a while too, I think he’ll be fine.

If the Windies get their bowling combinations right, they could upset a lot of teams in this tournament. Incredible progress from a side that very nearly didn’t even qualify in the first place.
