His captaincy and guile has been masterful.
Apart from giving Boult the last two overs and the super over. Should've been Neesham and Lockie. But hindsight is a blessing. I guess he counted on his senior bowler to rise to the occasion

Stokes played an absolutely brilliant knock. The way he and Buttler constructed the innings and brought England's chase to life was absolutely superb to see. But that finish was one of the best moments of cricket I've ever seen in my life. The intensity, the tug of war out there, OMG. England do deserve this WC after 4 years, I feel happy for Morgan given the difficulties that he went through in 2014-15, its a great gift for him after putting in the hard yards to stick this England team together and make it play in the smashbuckling manner that has gained so much admiration for them by all parts of the world. You simply cannot deny that Morgan is one special man, he was able to turn this team around from a load of shit to this class. Well played England.

I was backing NZ this match, and boy what a game it was again. What excellent death bowling from them and that last over made me nearly shite my pants (Lol just kidding). I feel so gutted right now for New Zealand, I cant imagine the anguish and disappointment of getting close, so AGONISINGLY close to world glory just to be SOOO unlucky at the end. Just when they had things under control by nearly getting Stokes, Boult makes a tiny judgement that sees his catch go for 6 and I was feeling so annoyed and so disappointed when 6 runs were given after the ball ricocheted off the bat. Stokes definitely not at fault, very innocent mistake but boy that was ultimately the heartbreaker for sure NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.

NZ shouldn't feel they lost the WC, they were very unlucky in the end and their supposed "luck" that fans were saying this Black Caps side had in the tournament ran out. They should be proud of themselves, it is just unfortunate, simply the worst luck any team in sport could've had. The fact that this tie in the Super Over was based on boundaries made me feel so annoyed. But England deserve this victory, especially Eoin Morgan.

In fact, I am inclined to say that Cricket is the real winner, not NZ or England. We just witnessed a spectacle folks, and a game not to forget in WC history. WHAT A GAME.

New Zealand deserve an apology by those saying they were lucky to qualify for the semis (myself included, sorry :p ).
Nothing can ever make up for that four off Stokes' bat.
ICC should change the rules to make it a dead ball if that happens. Again, hindsight is a great thing, but can't believe that's not a rule. We would've had a final without controversy. It could've been the greatest sports match ever in terms of competitiveness

STOKES IS A LEGEND.
It wouldve been heartbreaking to see his emotions if england ended up on the losing side. This was his moment for redemption when 3 years back he lost his nerve against brathwaite.
Yeah, notwithstanding my post above, maybe that four was written in Stokes' destiny. GIVE HIM A MOVIE!

This was literally the best match I've seen its up there especially the circumstances...

-Stokes six caught but foot on rope
-Ball hitting Stokes bat when he dived giving them 6
-The super over madness

I'm so happy! Wish I went Trafalgar Square...or better yet had tickets! Amazing!

...If you're a New Zealand fan, if you're an England fan those odd moments add to the occasion, heck even if you're neutral.

Even though Rohit was ahead in runs and Shakib in both runs and wickets, Kane Williamson still deserved to win the MOS award for his runs alone which came off when the team needed him the most, he was single handedly scoring runs for the team with hardly any support from the other batsmen except for a few occasions. His captaincy earns him more points, exceptional leader. Well deserved.
