I am liking Mark Nicholas's commentary in this match. He is extremely neutral and unbiased with his views. Tbh this guy had made my childhood :p[DOUBLEPOST=1562331893][/DOUBLEPOST]Mustafizur Rahman is running through Pakistan's lower order

Pakistan can win this match if they bowl NZ out for 7 or lesser. Basit Ali's strategy will be interesting to hear!

What I know is, this guy Imam has got a lot of game awareness with the way he talked in the interview mid-innings with Simon Doull

Why is Imam getting so much coverage compared to Babar? Only now they done a piece on him...

Also I've been reading comments about Imam getting abuse, can I ask the story behind it?

It is the lame mentality of some people. Today morning itself, someone was accusing him of being in the team because of Inzamam (parchi). What is most hurtful is that they are insulting a legend like Inzy.. Pakistan doesn't know how to respect not just their current lot but also their legends. Shame.

Do Pakistani fans see the fact that this has been a bloody good WC for them? They`ve shown consistency for once, especially their batting. I don`t recall them batting this consistently in the last decade. Hope they stop sounding morose about this side. One Braithwaite six or a 1-second delay in Finch reviewing and they would be in the semis. With the deadweights like Hafeez and Malik out, they should be more dynamic as well. I`d say a very successful WC for them.

It just the poor start to the world cup that cost Pakistan and also fielding have been really poor, just right now Haris Sohail drop a easy catch in the match just proves it.
I agree that we need to get rid of Hafeez and Malik, Also Sarfaraz needs to go as well and work on the Fielding hard so next year T20 world cup we should have a good team.

I really don't know why Pakistan fans are hating on Imam? He looked one of the most fluent player in their line-up after Babar. Yes, he needs to work on his strike rate but at least he has a strong base which you can build upon. Fakhar has done absolutely nothing in this tournament and he is also very limited in terms of his scoring areas. I am not sure how good this Abid Ali guy is but I don't think he will do any worse than what Fakhar is doing right now. I think Pakistan are in really good hands with Imam and Babar in top 3. They also need to find a way to bring Rizwan in this line-up and that makes their middle order also look much stronger with Harris Sohail already there. One thing all Pakistani batsmen need to work on is their SR.

If there are other Pakistani openers out there who would average 50+ with 6 centuries (or is it 7 now) in 35 games then I'm sure the Pakistan selectors, even Inzamam, would like to hear about them.

It's not about statistics it is about how and when you perform. I appreciate Imam's century, It was a fine century but not a good ODI century by any means, Imam failed throughout the entire World Cup, got out in a crunch situation against Australia and gave his wicket away with poor SR against NZ. Against South Africa, just saved his own wicket and went away with 32 odd runs I guess.

No one hates Imam, we hate the fact that he has been given chance out of merit. You don't know about Abid Ali but we know how well he performed in the domestic circuit as well as he made a very classy hundred against Australia in his debut match, Mind you he hadn't been considered for so long for no reasons whatsoever.

Shan Masood, Abid Ali, Shehzad, Sahibzada Farhan were in all pipeline as major backup openers. Inzy didn't pick a single backup opener for the World Cup Squad. Why? Abid got dropped after given a chance against England in the last match as if Inzy was waiting for one bad inning of Abid to have an excuse to drop him.

As far as the legacy of Inzy is concerned as a batsman, I have always rated him higher than Sachin Tendulkar. as far as versatility and match winning innings are concerned. No one is questioning Inzy's greatness as a batsman, we have questioned his illogical and poor selection decisions before the all-important World Cup. He made rested the entire team against Australia in UAE, even changed the captain, we lost 5-0 and lost all our rhythm. He inducted Wahab Riaz out of nowhere after investing on Junaid for three years in ODI, has been unfair with Junaid anyway. Do you know about Junaid? He bowled out Virat Kohli three times back in 2013 tour to India. He always performed when Aamir wasn't there.

Don't apply the social media stuff people write to all Pakistanis by saying things we do not respect our legends. We should use some sense that we are talking about a different role here. Can anyone answer How Imam got eligible to be selected as T20 Opener? anyone can tell me? What a straight selection he got in all three formats one by one with poor SR statistics against weaker teams mostly or performing when it is not very crucial.

Our team has still performed which we are seeing in today's game against BD while mostly Indian fans were writing off against Bangladesh but there you go see today's performance.

I must say had India shown some intent against England that day, We could be seeing an India Pakistan Final this year.

Talking about Fakhar Zaman, The fans were not even favor of him all-out and so is the case with Hasan Ali while it was disappointing to see Sarfraz was still defending the worst performance of Fakhar and Hasan Ali in this WC.

Did you notice Sarfraz body language at the toss? He gave up that we can't score 400. While had it been Australia or India (at present) they would have shown intent and would have given a huge shot to 400. Anyhow even 400 was not a savior for us today. As far as myself is concerned, we had a good successful World Cup as well but it doesn't mean that selectors and management should not be questioned about the selection blunders they had made.

If you have some free time, instead of hearing what that douchebag has to say, watch this.

After I read the post that is above this one, I wanted to write a reply but then I am like fearsome tweak it, I would rather do/watch something meaningful then wasting my energy on someone who has completely lost it.

I mean, even if they scored 400 they'd have to bowl us out for like 50. He said it's wrong to expect that both of those things would happen on the same pitch and he's absolutely right. Their focus should be to win the game at hand and I think they're focusing on that well enough.

Already seen it and shared on my facebook. Couldn't wait to see the episode the moment I saw the sneak peak. I also really loved the AB episode and surprisingly warmed up to Ashwin as well.

And I don't know which post you are referring to I just hope it's not mine.
