Registrations are closed and full. I suggest you try during the transfer period, which will be a while since the tournament hasn't even started yet. Or you can hope that the management decides to (unintelligently) open up registrations again.

hahahaha, isnt it amazing what simple arithmetic can do to a persons head. w3lshrugby, ever think that that hundredth post want really a proper post at all, but rather a blatant piece of bragging? (And bragging about 100 posts in 16 days is pretty poor mate, if i may say, it kind of implies that you sit at the computer all day looking at planetcricket.org) (come to think of it, thats probably not the worst thing in the world, lol)

Final statistics updated for the Soakers' preseason. Great job, guys!

ICC Supersoakers announce change in captaincy
The Supersoakers manager, Sohum Misra, today spoke with the media about a change in the leadership of the team. Taking time out of his busy schedule, Misra said, "The Soakers are pleased to announce their captain for this season, w3lshrugby. His continued enthusiasm and skills of leadership displayed during our run to the Planetcricket Cup finals were exemplary. I'm happy to relinquish this position to him."

Misra also shot down any rumors about him trying to sell the team. "Why would I try and leave a team that has been so prolifically successful? Businessman I am, stupid I am not." Misra also said that he would continue to manage the team, including negotiating with players about their contracts. His main role, he claimed, would be during the midseason transfer period. "My in-game responsibility now takes a backseat. I believe its important for a manager to get a more 3rd person perspective on his players."

It is also rumored that Misra's schedule has become so busy that he almost missed the final of the Planetcricket Cup! When questioned about this, Misra had only one thing to say, bobbing his cellphone at us: "Technology today is still imperfect." It seems that by shedding off some responsibility, Misra will be able to concentrate more on his game and also on his other priorities.

The Supersoakers, who made a fantastic run from being 2 games down to losing by 18 runs in the Planetcricket Cup, are looking pretty strong for the season. They have a balanced team of specialists and all-rounders, which seems to come off good in tough situations. They are definitely a team to watch out for in the upcoming season. Dark horses they may be, but success is not their enemy.

Well, we lost the final :crying . But that was a close one, so one cant really be upset about it. .There was the good knock of themuel1 . So I dont think we have to take too much from it, its a preseason match anyway. We hope that we will do good int the up coming matches. :happy Cheers :happy
