I want BD to go to semi finals this time:upray

This is so far away that you can't even make predictions like "Afridi will captain" or the sort. Who knows what will happen over the next few months, especially with Pakistan, they might have a whole different team and management by then :laugh

No matter what the management or whatelse you are talking about but I assure you that the Afridi is the captain for the next T20 World which is helding in Westindies. There is a strong chance for our win, And we are favourites and Insha-Allah Victory would be of Pakistan. :)

what makes you so sure that you are the favorites for it.

The Kiwis could also emd up doing pretty well out here. Fingers crossed though. They tend to always bow out in the semi-finals though.

I just love to see a India Pakistan final,no matter who wins.

Agreed :).

Because Alhamdulillah we are the world champions currently and We have just break south Africa's Record of 6 consistent Wins. Plus, the cricket experts currently say that Pakistani T20 Team is superb because they have some really explosive players both Batsman and Bowlers. Isnt that enough? if not, well then wait for some more T20 Matches. I dont know who will win the World Cup but Pakistan is definitly the favourites along with India as second favourites.

In T20, there are no favorites. Any team can win on anyday. Even if Team A starts off superbly and dominate for 60-70% of the match, Team B can sneak through to a victory by winning just 30% of the game, but in a more influential way. Thats what T20 is.

So there cant be big favorites for this cup. I think we will see a new champion again this time.

There is what 6 months until the tournament starts. In that time anything can happen.
There are no clear favorites in 20/20s, Sri Lanka have a good side with some good bowlers, India have good batsman for the format, South Africa have a strong batting lineup, Pakistan have good bowlers, WI have good batsman.
Anything can happen, if it was a 50 over competition or a test competition then there would be clear favorites.

Maybe Yuvraj should captain our T20 side. Dhoni should relinquish T20 captaincy and slowly should get out of the format as he is not suited anymore for it. And hope our A-list batters like Sehwag and Gambhir are in form by the time the tournament comes. Good thing is, West Indian wickets will mostly be slow and low which is similar to the Indian wickets where the IPL will be held (the tournament starts just after the IPL).
