We seem to be like NSW, rely too much on the openers aka Warner. Once hes out it seems to fall apart very quickly. Need Hussey to get back at 6 to stabilize the 24/7 collapse that seems to happen. Haddin hasn't really delivered in T20 might be worth trying something like

Warner
Paine
Clarke
Watson
White
Hussey
Dussey
Hauritz/Smith
Lee
Johnson/Nannes
Tait

I'd defo have M Hussey in there.
The keeping position is up for grabs. Matty Wade did a great job at the top of the order during the KFC T20, and so did Paine.

Bowling is undoubtedly our strength, with one or two international benches.

With any luck and barring any injuries this will be the West Indies team.

Gayle
Barath
Sarwan
Bravo
Pollard
Smith
Ramdin
Taylor
Mohammed
Roach
Edwards

Lennox Cush is a great addition to the team. Former Standford SuperStar

Would say Paine is ahead with a few more better knocks and his ODI experience and performance give him that extra edge. But can't see our selectors dropping Haddin which could be our down fall in the end.

^^ Bangladesh if play up to their potential can surely be in semifinals, they aren't too bad T20 but they used to play blindly in their batting.

Tbh i have a feeling that Australia will win the T20 WC this time with complete domination on other teams just like ODI World Cup.

Looking at the AUS recent T20 match vs Pakistan. Presuming Lee returns, i'd say AUS potentially will have a serious weapon by having 4 150 mph quicks who all are very skillful T20 bowlers.

All 4 of Lee/Tait/Nannes/Johnson should start in AUS best T20 XI.

^^ Pace isn't everything and in Pakistan vs Australia match, we actually through the match more then Australia had tried to win it.
All test nations have about equal chances to win this WC.
No team can dominate perfectly as we used to saw Australia in ODI WC only because 20 overs aren't too much for even those teams who haven't perfect ODI player.
Your batsmen have to play very less overs so pressure of loosing wickets is little less as one partnership over 50(if rest do little bit) provides you a good score, same with bowlers, they too have to use their stamina for 4 overs rather then 10 over.

Pace indeed is not everything. But if the "pace" is quality then it indeed may be everything.

.

No debates here, just saying those 4 bowlers are the perfect T20 bowlers (given that bowling in a T20 is basically just like bowling in the last 10 overs of a ODI). Thus all 4 should start in AUS best T20 XI.

Really hope Afghanistan make it, it's a pity they didn't get to the World Cup.

Defo a nation to look out for, really talented!
