Its actually a great disappointment for the tigers actually

first off it was their home ground almost every supporter was with them.(that does not matter much actually but does affect the flow of match)

second the BCB ordered the people not to support the other team (I saw that in the news)not sure if its true.

third they could not even make it up till 100 that is the most embarrassing moment in your own home ground, very very disappointing. I expected a well fightback from the tigers.

Just look at this +1.75 for West Indies. We now have to win one more match and then we are through as the following scenario would be in place.

If India win vs Bangladesh we will have 6 Points. Now if West Indies win their remaining 2 they too will be on 6 points and Pakistan if win against Bangladesh will be on 4 with loss against West Indies. Australia can be on 4 points if they win against India and Bangladesh. With above scenario

India - 6
West Indies - 6
Pakistan - 4
Australia - 4
Bangladesh - 0

If not some other scenario could be West Indies win against Aussies but not Pakistan then Pakistan would qualify if they beat Bangladesh. On the other hand for Australia to qualify need to win all three now or else hope Bangladesh wins.



They were confused. Cricket is always a little complicated game. When you bowl a no ball and batsman run the runs are always counted. Now in this occasion as the umpire had to go third umpire ICC law dictates that now the run wont be counted which is bullshit as rules should be same for all scenario there should have been a run added for WI even if they went upstairs for referal

Yep, it's easily noticeable. Correct me if I'm wrong but he did consult Ganguly lately and perhaps that has had a huge role in the 'change of technique' for him? He's been much more comfortable against the short ball but then, the real challenge still lies ahead of him and that is Australia.

What's up with Gayle lately? Even though WestIndies won last night and with ease may I add but the way he was playing, reluctant to hit the big shots until the last 4 overs were remaining can be really COSTLY against a strong opposition. If it wasn't for Smith, West Indies would've had a horrible start.

ya because the balls are not raising above chest height, i would like to see if he has improved on bouncy pitches with ball soaring above neck height and if he can handle it.
