ICC World T20 Bangladesh 2014

LOL these umpires are hilarious, 2 bad decisions in 2 balls.

For those interested, Kieron Pollard makes his much anticipated return this weekend when he lines up for T&T against the College Students. That is one thing that WI would be really looking forward to.

Someone from the support staff should pull that hamstring of Andre Fletcher.

For some reason the immigrants in the English Cricket team make me sad. Where is the native talent?

Its not like the whole team is "immigrants"; you have two saffers in Dernbach and Lumb + Morgan (who was only allowed to play for England because ICC eligibility rules are biased in favour of full members). That's it; the rest of the squad is English-born. In terms of "native talent"; Dernbach went through the Surrey academy system, so he's played all of his life in England and didn't just switch (like the other two, although Lumb came over for First Class stuff). There's plenty of native talent out there and hopefully coming through in the future; the ECB has invested lots of money in getting cricket into state schools which apparently is starting to pay off, and that's the best way to get more talent into cricket, by widening the net. Of the last Ashes squad, only two (Trott and KP, Rankin was brought up in Derry so is technically in the UK) were educated outside the UK. There isn't this huge "foreign" contingent to English cricket, not more than other countries...

LOL Pollard is not in the squad so Fletcher can take a sigh of relief for now I think. :p

Thank you for your info. Good to know a great cricketing nation in not on the decline.

his figures to this point are actually OK for a T20

but i agree, I don't think I've seen him bowl anything that justifies his continual selection...
