I didn't understand what you meant.I'm pretty sure that's the Dhoni-effect.

I'm not saying that Bumrah had Dhoni's support, I'm saying Dhoni influenced Bumrah and made him more confident unlike the Pakistani captains. And if You're trying to compare PSL, BPL and Pakistani domestic cricket with IPL, then I don't think there's a point to this conversation.I am quite sure Mohammed Amir played Bangladesh Premier League, Pakistan Super League and domestic cricket in Pakistan before making a comeback into the national team and talking about captain's support, Afridi & Malik had backed amir for comeback and really don't see the reason for fans support for performing in international matches. We people dint even knew who Bumrah was before his National call up
I'm saying, Dhoni gave him more confidence and self-belief. He influenced him in a way that would make him better than the others.I didn't understand what you meant.
Actually, the only reason why Rohit called Aamir a "normal bowler" was because people were comparing him to Wasim Akram. I'm sure others would do the same if someone compared Virat Kohli to Sachin Tendulkar.Amir was called as "normal bowler" because any gast bowler can bowl such spells in the pitch favourable to bowlers. That is why pakistan was bowled out for 84. He didn't make any wonders like taking hat-trick on "flat pitch".
Every second person will. Also, if praising great spells on flat tracks is a thing, I would like to praise Wahab Riaz's spell against Australia at the Adelaide Oval

You didn't understand what I did there, did You?This is what I wanted to read. And this what other pakistani fans must do. Comparing a player who is just a beginner to someone who has already well established himself from a field and has moved away is really pointless.
I reckon' this discussion is going off-topic.
Yeah, I didn't get you. It really doesn't matter if we discuss this issue in WT20 thread. Obviously, the formatting was not done by me. Whenever I edit a post from my phone, it automatically change its font size. You didn't understand what I did there, did You?
The actual point of that was to not compare anything. Don't compare fast bowlers who have cemented their place in a team with newcomers, don't compare bowling spells on green tracks and bowling spells on flat tracks. Don't compare Bumrah and Aamir. The only point of this argument was to let You know, Aamir is not a "normal bowler", compared to Wasim, maybe. But currently, No.
Also, using large fonts is not pleasing to the eye.
Bumrah is a special bowler for us and that's why we are praising him. I don't see anything wrong in that. I know his action is unique and batsmen will eventually figure it out. But how can you tell that his fate wont be good enough ? You are telling that because batsmen figured Tanvir's bowling action and were playing comfortably. Who knows same thing will happen for Bumrah also ? He might be different. He might have some magic which Tanvir didn't have. I don't see what's your issue here. Also, it's not just unusual action. His yorkers are the key here. Even Malinga has an unusual action and even he was very sepcial because of his yorkers. Same thing with Bumrah. Note- I am not comparing Malinga and Bumrah, I am just saying the similarity between them. Give Bumrah some time before judging that his fate will be same as Tanvir's. And of course we will praise him. He is bowling nicely till now.
When you tell Amir might become like wasim akram if he works hard, I don't see why you are not seeing that Bumrah might become like Malinga if he works hard too.
You mean Kohli?Pakistan is known for producing greatest fast bowlers and we have seen it over history while Indians have always produced Great batsmen, So my analysis is generally based on that, like I have given examples of few indian bowlers whose fate was determined later after they got so much over-praise from Indian commentators, fans and their media So I am just afraid that hold your views guys He can be the same story as well.
I am not sure on the fate of Bumrah ofcourse, My point is just hold your views on Bumrah to a balance and don't over-hype him and labeled him as a next big thing so early. We have to see more of him in time like you said before over-praising him. Rohit is definitely entitled of his views and personally I am not furious about it. I just gave my own opinion
On a separate note, Kholi is the best batsman India currently have. Rohit and any other cant be compared to him
If a player of his class got out twice on two balls to a "normal bowler", he certainly wouldn't feel too good about it.[DOUBLEPOST=1457509100][/DOUBLEPOST]
Well, I didn't see him play one good ODI innings against a good bowling attack in difficult conditions.
