30 Overs:
Robin Jackman: World XI ar ein a good position at the end of 30 overs having reached 190 for 5. Indo-Pak XI did manage to pick up wickets in between but for most part the batsmen were able to play their shots. Sachin will be a touch disappointed with the amount of extras given but it's important for them to get back in the match in last 20 overs.
For World XI most of the batsmen tried one attacking shot too many and as a result other then Pietersen no one in top 5 was able to get a big score. This England pair has added some important runs after they were in a spot of bother at 120 for 5. So with 20 overs to go we are in for some entertainment if these to can go on.

If you are having byes issues you could try and import the ball conditions config files. This normally will make the CPU batting better and also cuts down the byes to a large extent for me. You may want to try this out too. Let me know if this sorts the issue out.

World XI score 340 for 9 in 50 overs

Robin Jackman : Welcome back to Newlands where we have seen World XI put on a huge total of 340 for 9 in 50 overs. Disappointing effort by the Indo-Pak XI bowlers to give those extras, at the same time some intelligent batting by World XI middle and lower order after they lost some wickets.
The pitch is still good for batting and it's going to be a tough task to chase this target but by no means impossible. We will be back for the Indo-Pak XI innings..

Gee, that's a massive score. With the change in cursor size you should be able to bowl better the next time S.

Thanks everyone for sticking with the story, really appreciate the support. :friends was busy for last few days but I'll definitely try to provide regular updates....starting now:

25 Overs: Indo-Pak XI made a fantastic start chasing this huge total helped mainly by a smashing 94 (68 balls) by Afridi, and well supported by Sehwag, Tendulkar and Youhana. Indo-Pak XI have reached 226 for 3 at the end of 25th over and with just 115 to get, they will fancy their chances. For World XI they surely need some inspired effort in bowling if they are to get back in the game on this belter of a pitch.

Now that the smoke has cleared and dust settled after 2 cricket game releases (both didn't quite live up to the expections), I'm back with updates on the World Unity series.

World XI win to go 2-1 up
World XI won a close game here at Cape Town by 23 runs. Indo-Pak XI were off to a superb start and at one stage it looked like they will chase this big target set by World XI. But Flintoff had other ideas and turned the game on it's head during a fine spell as the middle order collapsed against his reverse swing. With asking rate dropping to 3/over, Ponting opted for attacking fields through out and it paid out as the pressure finally got to the Indo-Pak batsmen.

So with World XI fighting back to win this game they take a 2-1 lead in the 7 match odi series. We will be back for the next odi at Harare, hope you join us then. With Sanjay Manjrekar and Robin Jackman it's good bye from CapeTown.
