What a catch! What a catch!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good decision though. Was a superb lot of work from Gilly.

Guess not

Sehwag a mixed bag at the moment, its hard to tell if he's in form or not. He seems to hit the ball well, then seems to be having trouble

Well this is exactly was India needed in the first two tests.

Gilly! What a catch!.... Damn.. Hit the arm guard. Real good decision.

geeze, great athletism from Gilly. The old fella still has it. What a catch, not a bad chance for a shout, but the umpire was right on the money

good decision by the umpire, great catch by gilly too
See... umpires do get credit. :D

Wasn't pleasant to see a tall man like Jaffer duck like that to a bowler of Clark's pace though... I shudder to think about what happens when Tait bowls the bouncers.

How many times does Sehwag have to play and miss. The Aussies must be really frustrated at the moment.

Yes, your right, a good start, it was dissapointing to see such slow starts previously, this is great to watch.

they must be feeling really frustrated. All morning he has been playing and missing. But he just needs one ball to be bad, and then he'll smash it to the boundary

To the Indian fan, it must give great delight to see an opening partnership staying together for this long. Sehwag has been playing and missing a few, but his approach is so positive that Jaffer doesnt need to try anything silly, and its clearly paying off. Damn, if we had Sehwag in the first two tests, we would have been in a greater position to competet (but no point dwelling into if's and buts now).

Hope and pray they continue like this for a long long time. It would give India such a great start to this test that we can witness a good battle. I am still scared that one or two wickets could lead to a collapse (better to be pessimistic).

Taits gonna get a lot of bounce too. Big appeal but going over. A lot of bounce by Clark, which probably means Taits gonna get a lot.

But the thing with Tait is, he needs to be accurate and direct the bouncers properly or else it would be easy to leave them untouched. Clarke seems to be making them play at it.

Another good umpire call!

Yeah, that's what I was saying early with Clark about the LBWs. If he doesn't get the edges, he may find it hard to get the dismissals. Indians should be batting out of their ground as well to him.
