India in the West Indies

Dravid is gone, but Dhoni's at the crease. Lets see what happens.

Good fight from the Windies but again the Indian will be chasing down a total with ease. Dravid is just so consistent these days. It's a pity Gayle's magic 100 will come to waste.
If India chase this one then it will be 17 in a row. :p

That better be chased and not 17 wins in a row ;)

India should have it from here 34 off 32 balls with Kaif set and Master Dhoni in.

Kaif looking very tentative, three dot balls, and this is going to be a close finish.

You mean wtf is Dhoni thinking. Bravo gets him and this match has becomer tightier. 19 off 16 balls with a new batsmen in. Some very good death bowling by the Windies to keep it this tight.

ARRRGH!If only this was stickcricket.

India got there in the end as expected. Kaif played a good knock and hit the winning runs. Taylor wasn't as effective as he was against Zimbabwe.

I think we should promote dhoni up the order instead of Pathan. He is in good touch, can make a good use of powerplay.

Great victory by Indians as usual!!!!
Its good to see Kaif getting useful runs there!!!!!

So India's record for chases still continues........ :happy :happy :happy

Nice to see Kaif back in the runs. Aussie1st, no one is as effective against anyone else as they are against Zimbabwe :p

It was a satisfying victory for India! Mind you, the West Indians are at home and they are known to do well at home conditions, even though they are No.8 or their attack might look toothless. They fought very well today. The batting was very good except for in the final overs, and they fought well today. India did not allow West Indies to come this close, but the Windies truly deserved to come this close.

Kaif's fans and Greg Chappell must be heaving a sigh of relief now. This is his first notable innings after Dravid took up full time captaincy (from the Sri Lanka home ODI series)! He was tentative in this innings too, but luckily he came out of it and this should give him much needed confidence. Dravid batted brilliantly today. His scoring rate was fabulous for him! He is a class act!

What irony that both Gayle and Dravid reached their 12th centuries in this game? It was a very exciting game, but I expect the Indians to tighten up more from here. This was their first international match in this tour, and normally they use up some international matches to get into the groove. They could grab a victory when they were not at their very best. As the games go on, I expect them to get tougher. But this spirited fight by the Windies gives a lot of excitement to the viewers!
