India reach 230/4 at the End of Day 2
Day 2 Last session Report:
India have reached 230/4 at the end of Day 2, thanks to some great batting by the genius Sachin Tendulkar again. He came to India's rescue when they were looking dangerous for a collapse. He is not out on 85* and accompanying him is the last specialist batsman, VVS Laxman on 52*.
India started off the last session again in a disastrous manner when Dravid was adjudged LBW to a slightly rising ball from Malik. It seemed every time Pakistan came out of a break, they picked a wicket immediately as Sehwag was out first ball of second session and Dravid was out first ball second session. India were 119/3.

Then came in Ganguly. Then at 123/3, Malik stuck a big blow by bowling Ganguly for nought. Ganguly tried to defend a full delivery and completely missed it to see his stumps rattled. India got into trouble at this stage at 123/4

VVS Laxman came in and was bowled off a no-ball in his very first ball. Then both Tendulkar and Laxman played very cautiously to bring India back into the game. But they didnt allow the Pakistan bowlers to dictate terms. They kept scoring at a good run rate.
Tendulkar's half century
The last 5 overs produced dramatic moments as Laxman and Tendulkar survived a lot of appeals and deliveries and are now lucky to be out there together! Laxman survived a very close leg before appeal and was dropped when on 48*. Tendulkar survived a leg before appeal off Shahid Afridi when he was on 69* and he was almost stumped when he was on 73* but Akmal missed the ball and the ball went for 4 byes. India can be satisfied with their score of 230/4 but one has to also give credit to Shoaib Malik and Afridi for tightening things up for the Indian batsmen. As it stands now, this test is in a balance and either team can take the lead tomorrow of what promises to be an exciting test match
