He should have been in Indian team long time ago.

The fact that he never played for RCB, MI and CSK (he did play for RCB but back in 2009 before the rise of Kohli).
 
Also guys that 55 runs was from India A getting bowled out for 140 odd runs in the first match.

He was injured otherwise he would have played Champions Trophy and recent WI series. I am sure he will come back for the ODI's and maybe the T20. He should maybe replace Yuvi.

Pandey got injured in the IPL and was replaced by Dinesh Karthik in the CT squad. Its bad luck that Pandey got injured right before the Champions Trophy. He was picked in the initial squad of 16. His time should come soon. With Yuvraj and Dhoni at the very end of their careers, the likes of Pandey have to take over in LOI's

Yeah. What I meant was, he should be in the playing XI. When yuvi is in the team, there is no way Pandey will be in the lineup.
 
adding to the list of scores Manish played a not out 93 runs winning innings against SA. SA and India A both have equal wins but SA are ahead in points table with a bonus point
 
The final of SA A vs India A happening right now. SA A has set a target of 268. India A in response are at 146/2 in 32 overs.
 
What a victory for India. This India A team looks fantastic tbh better then the current ODI team. What a well calculated chase from Iyer and Shankar and the final knock out punch by Pandey the man. 10 overs 38/2 and winning by 7 wickets is a huge achievement. Well done boys. Except Nair in the top order for opening I think this was the perfect team combo. Replace Nair with Kohli and few bowlers like Shami, Yadav come in for faster bowlers and we are back to good ODI team. But meh! this is not going to happen

Yup this team does look especially when it comes to batting the likes of Pandey,Iyer Pant and Samson bowling bit inxeperienced early days for the bowlers likes of Thampi, Siraj and even Kaul. Vijay Shankar looks an exciting prospect saw him earlier this year in domestic t20 tournament for Tamil Nadu

Samson has somehow lost his charm. He has had a mediocre tournament this and IPL as well. He is a very good prospect but got overshadowed by Pant

I think Pandey will be back for the ODI's aganist SL and Australia. I still remember when in about 2014 when there was so much hype around Samson, about him being the man to replace Dhoni. He hasn't done much to justify that over the last 2-3 years.
