Lord Thakur to the rescue. It been a perfect day and start for India, from team selection to bowlers doing what they have been doing over the years for India. The only thing that did not go for India but actually was perfect for India was the toss.

Still it being an Indian side, I think England can still put up 50-100 more runs on the board with lower order. Only way for us to completely dominate this day is by getting the last two quickly and cheaply and going to stumps with no wicket lost.

Ishant is unfit from what I heard from the commentators. And he did look like that in the WTC Final with the pace he was bowling at, hardly 129-130 kph. Haven't followed anything after that from him so not aware. But again if he is unfit it is better to rest him until we arrive at the later stages of the series than to lose him at the back end.

I get that India did not want to compromise on their pacers plus they needed their batting to be strong so they went with Jadeja instead of Ashwin. Thankfully they delivered!!!
