I don't think England are coming back again soon in Lion's den :p

Bit disappointed they didn't stick through but who can blame them. It would be a great jesture from England just like Australia did after the London bombings but i guess the relationship isn't there between the English and Indians. If it were Pakistan that would be different. But oh well hopefully this won't effect too much in future tours of India.

There is a major difference though. In the attacks in London during the Ashes tour the ideal wasn't to isolate a bunch of sporting celebrities and take them hostage or even kill them for the publicity. The idea was to kill as many as possible and to show that they had the organisation, funding and power to show the British government that they could something like this off during the busiest travel times.

Whereas in previous attacks in India and the Sub-Continent in which there have been bombed blasts, but they also have been aimed at killing merely as many civilians as possible as a point of reference to a groups power and publicity. Whilst in many instances other touring sides have left India despite the attacks being aimed at general Indian civilians this is one co-ordinated attack that could pose a genuine threat to a travelling Western side. Considering that these attacks have been aimed at White tourists and from all worldwide reliable news reports attackers have taken hostage and held on those people that hold British or American passports, then it is clear to see that this is an incident designed to attack Brits. Thus, the English Cricket team is at a more credible risk than it is when these attacks generally occur just aimed at causing disaster.

I'm obviously not preaching or proclaiming that anything could happen to the players, but if you take into account that the attacks have deliberately targeted Brits then we have a far more credible reason to come home now than we usually do when it's a small bomb attack in a cafe aimed at causing damage and gaining publicity rather than targetting specific groups.

The test series will go ahead apparently, as much as I want to see England vs India there is no way that this hould go ahead. How can Lalit Modi even consider them going ahead with the security concerns, they should be abandoned as a mark of repect to those who have died if anything.

there are many other ways to show respect for those who have died. decision is ok as far as i am concerned.

To hell with the decision being okay. Cancel the tests too, this isn't a joke. Anyways, good that CL has been cancled (never liked the idea).

The CL and the remaining matches should be canceled .Situation here is not good for having matches. BCCI should not let put the life of Players in threat. the blast here was like a War. it will take time to heal the situations.
