Indian Domestic Cricket

With the cancellation of Kedar Jadhav's contract, the search for a reliable part timer in white ball begins.

England has Root,
Australia has Finch,
New Zealand has Williamson,
South Africa has Markram,
Pakistan has Zaman

India has no reliable part timer. I won't call Kohli as a one.
Pakistan has Babar;)

They are missing Dhoni's advices

But MSD is no more available! They need to grow some new neurons, otherwise Bishnoi & Varun will take their place in the contract list of BCCI. Nothing is permanent, change is the only constant. :yes

They have never played without Dhoni before Dhoni's retirement so they had no one to give them tips. This IPL is the best chance for them to make their place in the team once again.

You can check my Fantasy Cricket team, I took Yuzi as a bonus player for IPL 2021. But he disappointed me again. I hope, he will play well in the upcoming matches & just stay away from Dhanashree! She is the main distraction. He can learn from Bumrah. :yes

I don't think we're ever getting back to those days of "pack the side with four bowlers and have the rest come from the batsmen".

In any case most sides these days play two all-rounders, with the exception of perhaps current Pakistani and South African sides. We can play Pandya and Jadeja and have six bowlers which should be enough for most ODIs.

Pant and Jadeja should have been in the top most bracket and maybe Shreyas Iyer and Shami could have been a slot higher. Seems fairly fine apart from it. I assume Natarajan isn't there because he hasn't played enough games to qualify.

Chand was a classy batsman! Never quite got the attention he deserved from the selectors/ IPL. India's loss, perhaps USA's gain.

Wonder how many more will join him- Smit Patel, from the same batch has already joined their ranks. I wouldn't be surprised if a certain Karun Nair makes his way out there soon.

Lol not a loss by any stretch of imagination whatsoever glad he never represented India after his heroics in U19 WC.

He never really performed in domestic circuits had an average of just 30 in FC which is absolutely below par as far as the India domestic is concerned in 67 odd matches.

Even in list A had 41 averages when others fared much better than him.

Took a break in 2015 wanting to write a book not sure who bought it.

He was bought by MI in 2015 but he decided not to continue in 2016 as he was not getting more playing games.

The same year MI gave H Pandya a chance & the following years MI introduces a bunch of youngsters some of them even went to played for India (SKY, Rahul Chahar and Pandya bros).

And guess what his debut in USA minor league gets out for a 3 ball duck.

How can he get attention with this performance?

The stats may not reveal much, but I firmly believe Chand had the right essentials to play for India. His strokeplay was fantastic. Dunno how many of you watched that U19 CWC, but he was pretty good in those games.
