Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Judging by how the others have played so far Rajasthan still need to ensure that at least two of the top three should go for the kill. Can't rely on Buttler in his first game to bail them out.

Sanju Samson's power game is looking on point this season. It's good to see that because if he can improve in that area, he can really push for a spot in India's T20 team.

These sides are the strongest batting line-up this season. Both have a good mixed blend or power hitters, accumulators and young batsman. These sides will prosper this season solely because of their batting.

Oh well, that was just ridiculous from Pooran.

These two are making it seem really easy right now. However, I do feel that one wicket here will make things very interesting especially since RR is a batsman short in this game.[DOUBLEPOST=1601225031][/DOUBLEPOST]I have jinxed Smith, lol.

Sending Tewatia is back firing. Uthappa had to come in at the fall of second wicket.

Spectacular from Pooran, something that was the stuff of dreams a decade or two ago.

Tewatia has killed the chase here. A horror game from him till now.[DOUBLEPOST=1601225844][/DOUBLEPOST]

Uthappa also had a similar performance in the last game too so RR might have just been caught between the devil and the deep blue sea here.

Getting to the point you'd need to get Archer up the order to try and whack a few to ease some pressure.

Yes because it's just putting more pressure on Samson to go for big hits which is Tewatia's job. I have seen Tewatia hit some big ones in the practice sessions but I have never seen him do it in an actual match. I remember Ponting's love affair with his batting as well when he was at Delhi and was pushed up the batting order sometimes but that move never really paid off.[DOUBLEPOST=1601226114][/DOUBLEPOST]Yeh I do appreciate the thought process behind the decision but this has just backfired. Tewatia needs to get out.

Hell retire him out at this point! That is better than what we're witnessing.
