Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Lol at people saying that KKR’s win were robbery points. Cricket is a team sport and in the end a win is what matters.

Was India’s 2011 world cup victory robbing a cup from Lanka when we lost against good teams like England where we tied and lost against Africa only to be winning against weaker teams?

Or was Englands 2019 victory robbing New Zealand?

Subcontinent fans think themselves as a cricketing guru. Punjab were last because they dint hold up their nerves. CSK and Royals are last cause one does not get the moments right and other the team.

Cricket is a team sport, not an individual sport.

You are finding a lack of bowlers to support Bumrah when you guys have Boult. Half the sides in the IPL would give an arm and a leg just for Boult, let alone Boult & Bumrah.
Jordan nailed the Yorkers in the super over, did Boult?

Can anyone tell why did Warner bat so low?

Kane was injured so he had to open to hit boundaries only as he couldn't run. Garg is more of a classical player, so that's why he would've come at 3

Spot on, Chennai have pulled off several such 'heists' in the past and every time I see Dhoni and Chennai get praise for such victories as down to strategy, experience and whatnot. If Kolkata can win these 50-50 games despite not performing to their potential, imagine how good they could be once everything starts clicking.[DOUBLEPOST=1603116530][/DOUBLEPOST]As for today's lineup, not surprised to see Hazlewood back in. Ngidi seems to have fallen out of favour for some reason and with every other team having a minimum of one overseas pace bowler who can bowl 140+, Hazlewood's inclusion makes sense.

Tyagi has all the tools in his shed to be a superstar in the future. Bowls consistent pace with good accuracy too and doesn't seem to mind being hit either.

The running issues plaguing CSK have also affected Dhoni. :(

Have not seen anyone be so out of form as Kedar Jadhav. Also why send Kedar when you know how bad he is right now?

Slowing pitches or bad batting/good bowling?

Can I introduce you to England's Moeen Ali?

This is dreadful batting with absolutely no intent in the middle overs. Only Rajasthan batting worse can save Chennai now.[DOUBLEPOST=1603122322][/DOUBLEPOST]

There is no point in having him right now as he is neither used as an anchor nor as a finisher. Jagadeesan and Gaikwad must be fuming!

At this point I'm wondering if Jadhav's in the team to deflect attention from Dhoni's own form. Man attracts the trolls and abuse like a lightning rod on social media.

Why does Rajasthan want to shoot itself in the foot everytime? Robin and Jos should be opening and not Ben. Smith, Ben, Samson what a middle order they could have.[DOUBLEPOST=1603123114][/DOUBLEPOST]

More like take attention from entire team. Not just Dhoni!
