Loving Shami's resurgence in the IPL. India now have three world class pacers and a very good support crew spearheaded by Natarajan.

Now Indian team should drop Rishabh Pant and back Sanju Samson. Pant is terrible in T20 cricket.

Really hope for his sake that he doesn't fizzle out like in the other years and captaincy keeps him focused. Has that Rohit like ability to be a real match-winner on his day.

If anything, this should show that Jos and Samson should be the opening duo. Imagine the carnage that would ensue.

Funny thing is that your favourites in Pant and Kishan would have taken that regulation catch and there would have been no Samson. Oh well, you make your luck in cricket and Samson's done very well today, fair play to him.

I still have no idea why Punjab are viewed as one of the favourites for the IPL. That bowling attack of theirs looks nowhere near good enough to win a title unless one of their unheralded names has a world class season. No use having an incredible top four when your best bowler is someone who was struggling in the IPL prior to these recent seasons.
