Well I don't agree with you. It was courageous batting at the end,he backed himself and the amount of confidence he have had in that decision is above rooftop and the way he was hitting he would have gone for the 4 or 6 rather than new Batsman. I dont see any selfish motive here.

Now he is a middle order batsman for India in ODIs while an opener in T20Is. He did not keep wickets in the last 2 ODIs against England. I believe he must also give away the gloves in IPL to Pooran. He is too good a batsman to be used as a wicket-keeper.

Atleast 50% of it would've been done by Dhoni.

Dhoni would've easily got 200 ODI wickets had he bowled more often. For someone who is literally unplayable for the likes of Mahela Jayawardene & Kevin Pietersen definitely had a skillful bowler in him.
