Pat Cummins is a star pacer in IPL?

Not at all (I’ve advocated for Lockie to play ahead of him previously) but it’s clear that the franchise is viewing him as one with how aggressively they pursued him. They’ve made their bed clearly.

Chepauk meaning the spin factor? Warner is an excellent player of spin if that is the worry, better than Quinny at the least.

Didn't he struggle last year in the first part of the IPL when it was played in Chepauk? I think he doesn't really enjoy the slower pace of the Chepauk pitch. But anyways, I did want CSK to go slightly more harder on him....

With all due respect to Faf, he isn’t anywhere near AbD. I’d look towards Maxi if you want someone closer to AbD’s ilk.

Faf is excellent fielder too, maxi and faf in boundary line, we can save plenty of runs and match changing catches...

He does like pace on the ball to play those drives and cuts in the powerplay and sluggish pitches may not suit that but he‘s got plenty in his locker to overcome that. In any case, I feel like his struggles last year were mental with some bad luck and smart captaincy fields negating him.

Faf explosive batsman too, but finishing skill of ABD can't be matched... but still I rate Maxi and Faf same, both can give you atleast couple of win...
