What??? What negative lines? The field is set as such and they are out there to win a game of cricket. I don't get what is wrong with it..
Something that takes the skill of the bowler out of the equation. And that actually increases the chances of bowling wides. Infact that has cost CSK a lot in this game.

The kind of reaction Gambhir gave makes me dislike the guy more! I mean you've just won 1 game and not the whole tournament. Maybe that's the kind of reaction he is giving because when he led his side he hardly beat CSK. :D

With two excellent death bowlers (Bravo and Pretorius), it was batshit to bowl them out with two overs to go. Those who say it was Dhoni’s call, haven’t watched CSK long enough. Dhoni is absolutely not known to much such horrific calls (he always trusts Bravo for the death).

I never liked Tushar Deshpande and my opinion gets stronger. He looks so mediocre. Mukesh was ok in PP, but too much of an ask for him to bowl last over with just 9 needed. Bravo and Pretorius were brilliant (could’ve lost much earlier had one of them bowled bad). As I said, this was a 220+ pitch and Bishnoi is the MoM. Rayudu and Dube slowed down in those overs and we didn’t get 10 extra runs.

Transition time, but I’m hoping to god that the right captain has been chosen.

Gambhir is all passion and I love his intensity. There will be 100 other mentors or coaches who are just there to collect pay cheques. GG is not one of them.

I think MSD needs to let Jadeja fly. I think what I saw today was a concoction of chaos. MS needs to let Jadeja make mistakes so that he learns. I think he was intercepting at points today but was also reluctant at times.

I don't blame Jadeja for using his gun bowlers ahead of time. CSK were short which I felt at half time and the dew is a huge huge factor. Anyone who has played cricket in such situations will tell you that it is not an unfair contest, it is a no contest. CSK did well but they need to iron out some small issues. In my opinion, they don't have glaring weaknesses like 2019 but some nuts and bolts need to be added. I definitely think they need a wrist spinner in the ranks but they never listen to me. Finger spinners are useless on such tracks.

Chennai don't have the bowling to compete this year it seems. Chahar coming back won't make much of a difference I feel.

Chahar and Milne could've maybe bowled tighter. Tushar Deshpande is way below mediocre. He got a lucky wicket because it was Manish Pandey doing Manish Pandey things :D He bowls absolute tripe. So does Dube. Maybe they could've etched out an over or two of Dube between 11-15 and that could've kept Pretorius and Bravo for the end.

Pretorius is a really good pick by CSK. I had high hopes on him before this game and he delivered. And that old wily fox DJ keeps doing well. We need to get our Powerplay bowling tight and things can change.

I think Conway should stay out and Uthappa should continue opening. Hope Ruturaj finds form soon. He must be kicking himself for missing out today on this track.
