Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Dube's innings have infused a new life into this match. The match depends on how this Squiggy Fast Five goes. :p

He has been a revelation with the bat this season, in what has been an all round disaster!

But Uthappa has been incredible (fingers crossed)

Century for Robbie please!!! GO BOY!!! Some solace, some solace!!!

RCB is going down now. Their body language don't look good, plus the CSK crowd have turned hostile

The otherwise best uncapped pacer thus far in the tournament is going for 50-odd in his spell today. Talks about the terrible day RCB are having on the field with the ball.

To me "RCB" sounds like "Harr-CB" :lol :lol

The fact is Ruturaj have performed well at the A-level but somehow haven't done well in IPL.
Uthappa and Dube on a rampage!! They've squashed predictions that this is a 150 odd pitch. 180 is surely needed considering CSK bowling.

Ruturaj was smashing it in the Vijay Hazare! He's just bogged down by many things, including his wrist injury, his constant benching in Indian team, the 2nd Covid infection, etc. Not excuses (except for that last one) and he needs to toughen up!
It was a general statement. Even Padikkal had a good season last year, but that doesn't mean he should represent the country ahead of people who are in queue.

We have already seen how good a mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy was in T20 WC selected on the basis of IPL performance. And hardik's selection in the name of T20 specialist was a blunder.

Again, IPL performance shouldn't validate national team selection unless the player has performed well in domestic circuit too.
