So, Ishan Kishan was brought into the Indian team because he played quickly at the top of the order. I know he has been out of form, but he has been piss poor, to say the least.
It will be interesting to see how our final 11 will look when we play that T20 series against South Africa in June. Some of the players are playing a completely different role to what they are assigned when they play for the Indian team.
- Kishan is not playing the role he will supposedly play IF he is selected in the final 11 in the Indian team.
- Pant was brought into the team to provide the x-factor in the middle order, but he has completely changed his game and is playing slower than usual.
- Hardik is coming in to bat at 3 or 4, but there is zero chance he will bat at that position once he comes back into the team.
- Jadeja is batting a position higher than where he will be in the Indian team.
- Kohli and Rohit are in a horrible form (of course, we are not going to drop them, but if they continue to struggle, it will be interesting to see how we deal with that situation).
It feels weird because they are all gun batsmen and yet, it feels all chaos when they come together for the Indian T20 team because apart from Rohit and Kohli, none of them play the role they are asked to play in the Indian team.
