There is no point in bringing up Kohli & Rohit's T20I numbers. IPL is a far more competitive tournament now than the bogus T20 bilateral that go on where teams can't be less bothered about fielding their test/ODI specialists.
My honest personal approach would be to give both a break and then see where they are at a month before the tournament as well as see how they see the option of not being part of it. If it is a deal breaker for them then they have to be played because of their service and because of the morale that needs to be maintained for the 23 WC where they are a permanent fixture.
My personal opinion is that Sharma has just become a fat walrus and he is not 25-30 anymore that his hand eye co-ordination will make up for it. I don't think anything is wrong with Kohli other than his head where he feels he needs to first get set etc. He just needs to be free from all this garbage and I think teams have smartly realised not to rile him up or get under his skin. He is someone who gets going if someone knocks him down and I feel getting dropped will hurt that titanic ego. I am all in to take his abuse after he smashes bowlers in the world T20 but I just feel he needs to be riled up. I have no interest in those sarcastic smiles after getting dismissed and neither do 1.3 billion Indians. If being abusive and a bit of a hooligan means getting runs then that's what we want. AND above everything else, Kohli has done a lot for India and us fans. I don't want to see such a colossal of the game whimper about looking for sympathy. That is NOT him.

Jadeja gave the match away on a platter! First at the toss, then in the end with the bat! His game after the captaincy takeover, has been absolutely dismal!
