That Abhishek Porel guy might just turn out to be best wicketkeeper of the tournament and has the potential to be one of the best ever the country has every produced in terms of keeping skills.

Man has some amazing athletic ability and seems have to have a great presence as well behind the stumps.

Looks decent with the bat as well.

And perhaps the biggest positive for DC this season.

Delhi will have a big decision to make next year. If Pant is unable to return to full fitness, do you persist with him? Bear in mind, that after 3 years, the BCCI usually rejigs the teams by calling for a mega auction. Going by their past antics, they might even add newer teams to the fray!

I personally feel,Delhi can let go of Pant as it frees up one resource and allows them the flexibility of going for a couple of good players next year. With Warner on his last legs+ Porel coming of age, might be good for Delhi to rebuild at the end of this season.

Question to be asked: Is Pant going to have much impact on the game when he is back? He isn't an enigmatic leader like MSD nor is he a run scorer like Kohli. Pant captaincy poses a lot many questions tbh!

I know Delhi is paying him his dues this year, but ultimately they got a business to run. Might not do it if this continues. Please releasing Pant opens up around INR 10CR for them in the auctions.

Runs * SR multiplier

Eg a batsman scores 200 runs at 150 SR, 200 * 1.5 = 300 which is his score. Simple enough for fans to understand aswell.
