Indian Premier League - General Discussion

As expected, the internet is flooded with #ShreyasIyer and how he should be India's face at the WT20. While I do have a soft corner for him, I've always felt he got the raw end post his untimely injury a couple of years ago. Shreyas, as a captain has been fantastic, and I'm not only talking of this edition of the IPL, but also going back to his stint with DC. Iyer has done well as Mumbai captain+ India A/B for some time. Pains to see media pundits and commentators not giving him the due here.

I get the GG has brought about a fresh approach, but let us also not discount Iyer, cause he is the one taking the decisions on the field. If he does win the IPL this year, it will put him in prime position to replace Rohit.

Anytime its knockout time, Kohli will be like ta ta bye bye! I am out of here! Some really good bowling by RR. They can restrict RCB here at 150-160 ish. RCB's bowling is a problem. Perhaps RCB's dream run coming to an end.

Horrible from Maxwell! 8 overs still remaining and they want to hit out. This is the reason RCB does not win anything, brainfades

Really hoping for a 10 wicket win for Rajasthan here. Can't stand Kohli running around like Jack Nicholson (One flew over the Cuckoo's Nest)after Siraj takes a wicket.

Royal Choking Bangalore!

I like RR more than RCB but I think the latter might be confident that they have posted enough on the board. RR has a new opener and the fact the Jurel hasn't been amongst runs could set the alarm bells ringing if they lose couple of early wickets.

Most ducks in IPL - Glenn Maxwell :clap

But they also have Samson, Jaiswal and Parag who have been in amazing touch. I think RCB is atleast 30 short here.
