Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Some ridiculous scenes on offer from DC. Even Ponting tried controlling his laughter but couldn't stop.

All talks of MI,CSK aside, DC's gonna join soon.

There would have been different views if pant was bowled on first ball and lalit axar playing with 200 strike rates

But anyways it was my day dreaming
Pant is a finisher :laughter:

GT have to be the most fascinating team to me. They bought Tewatia for 9cr and then played him as a specialist bat. They also promoted one of the most consistent finishers to #4 where he is making a little above a run a ball 30s. Everything points to them being a team that struggles esp after their squad was made which had to be one of the most underwhelming ones on paper, yet they are unbeaten till now. Long may the streak continue too

Btw, who is the Lalit ? I have only seen him in the IPL. I am assuming he is related to the owners of the Capitals?

I have to admit that I was among those who doubted the Nehra- Pandya combo, especially after that auction and the team they put on paper. What works for them is snippets of individual brilliances coming together- Gill, Shami, Rashid and Pandya. Given that all have more or less fired in tandem, it makes for exciting viewing.

He is a prolific run scorer in limited overs format for the Delhi Cricket team in domestic Circuit. I saw one of his innings in the SMA 2021 and was highly impressed by the way he scored at the death after a strong start by the top order.

There was another innings of his that I had watched where Delhi were 110/5 in 14 overs and he took them to 192/5

This wicket of Livingstone is exactly why I feel PBKS need to refine their approach. And I’m someone who believes a hundred percent in aggressive cricket.

My Fav bowler in this IPL, Odean Baba coming to bowl the last over.
