Indian Premier League - General Discussion

Ironically, that 50 might be end up being a worse innings than his two golden ducks.
I guess I would take it if that translates to him getting back his groove and confidence. I would even say worth the price and sacrifice of a win. A firing VK can only mean good for India.

Wriddhiman Saha is looking since last 2 matches.
He did well even in 2020 season averaging 73 and with a SR of almost 154! I think his lack of performance in the last season comes down to the fact that his entire team struggled and some behind the scene controversies that we don't have any idea about.

IMO Saha was always an opener/no.3 kind of player in T20s. More so his performance in 2014/15 seasons proves it as well.

Well well well well..... :D

Best decision by Jadeja himself! I know doing this mid-tournament sends out signals that he is not fit for any captaincy in his career going forward, but understanding his limitations quickly and prioritizing his game is a VERY GOOD thing.

I am not entirely happy with Dhoni taking over again, but I guess thats the only choice with Ruturaj struggling himself, Moeen Ali on an injury and Deepak Chahar ruled out. Well, the process of finding Dhoni's successor at captaincy restarts all over again. It was supposed to be the most tricky part, and its playing to the script!

Bumrah with the new ball and suddenly the opposition were desperate.

Maybe that drop is the reason why Tim David wasn't considered? :lol
