Indeed... Now they want to show us in plain sight, how scripted IPL really is! I woudn't wonder if they let KKR win today and then (either) let CSK finish top 2 in style by hammering DC, Or let Ambani Indians play surreal cricket to join GT in top 2 and CSK triumphing all the way by first beating RCB and then whoever comes in final.

Bad judgement call by CSK on this pitch. Should have bowled first. Also its tricky to roll such pitches when KKR have the likes of Narine, Chakravarthy, Suyash, etc. Narine choose the wrong game to show his class (for his own team too - KKR are out barring a mathematical miracle).

CSK are now facing the prospect of needing a win in their last game to qualify. Also their Top 2 spot is in danger as MI will take it if they win both their games and GT needs just 1 win in 2. Once both of this happens, CSK will be No. 3. It's out of CSK's hands. Delhi might sound like a roll over, but I am sure they wont be and want to go out with a win. Just how things change so fast at this stage of the tournament? It will be utter travesty if CSK fail to qualify for playoffs.

One huge reassurance for CSK is the return of Deepak Chahar. Boy, he has been on the money for consecutive games and has prised out a clutch of wickets in the Powerplay. His speeds are back up to near full tilt. However Jadeja's tumbling batting form across many seasons, is a BIG eyesore and a headache for CSK. He is undroppable now for his bowling performance. But he is a proper allrounder and has been hugely underperforming with bat and feels now a proper ODI player. Axar Patel is superior to Jadeja in limited overs right now, both with ball and bat.

More so.... a terrible season! Total failure with the bat and doesn't seem menacing enough even on turning pitches. Is he slacking off because he does not have the No. 3 batting spot anymore? He had a fab 2021 when he got that spot consistently across games. With a fit Ben Stokes being made to sit on the bench, maybe CSK could give him a game in the business end in place of Moeen. But Theekshana is also underperforming and funnily cant find success at Chepauk.

CSK, GT & MI will be in the Play-offs for sure. Remains to be seen who is the 4th big player here.

RCB. Wait how they'll script it to make last match of the league vs GT, a virtual do or due for them to get to 16 pts

PBKS and LSG will be so close to qualify and this game will change everything. Before this game MI will ensure top2 by beating SRH. I bet KKR will win again vs LSG, the night prior. To keep all the drama till very end

If going by last night's antics- if this really is MSD's last IPL, I think we needn't bother about who the Final 4 would be. I guess, we know the winner already. Titans/ Indians will no doubt contest the final with CSK.
